The timing of this season tells me it should be fall yet it does not feel like fall outside here. Normally, my outside porches would have already been decked out in pumpkins for weeks but if I would have done that according to the “timing” of fall this year, they would have rotted if so.

To me, it’s like everything turns to an antique look and makes our farmhouse look even more like it’s been here for a hundred years. Even though it’s a new build.
